We are looking for a candidate to the position of
Commercial Operations Coordinator
to join our Hoofddorp Commercial Operations team in Renewable Products focusing on EMEA sales operations.
You will join the dynamic Hoofddorp Operations team responsible for independent and proactive coordination of day-to-day commercial planning, implementation, and optimization of the commercial-, service- and terminal contracts in the domestic and international oil and renewable business. In the area of renewable business your responsibilities include bio-criteria management for our products.
You will work closely with a wide internal and external stakeholder network. Our Hoofddorp team is responsible for sales operations from our terminals in the ARA region to European customers. We also work in close cooperation with regional and global operations teams. Together with you and your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.

Your role in our team
- Carrying out operations in renewable products sales in compliance with Neste principles and processes.
- Day-to-day management of logistics, individual operations, transactions, contract execution, reconciliation, sustainability tasks and/or inventory monitoring
- Driving optimal contract performance and problem solving
- Early involvement in deal, offer and contract preparation with internal and external stakeholders
- Participating in delivery and/or inventory planning
- Managing and handling the biocriteria, database entries and proof of sustainability documentation for our renewable products
- Timely and accurate data entries for all contracts and inventory
- Primary contact for external and internal counterparties
- Efficient cooperation with Sales, Supply, SCM, Land Logistics, Chartering and other relevant stakeholders
Keys to success in this role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant area, e.g. from business, technology, logistics, sustainability
- Experience in international commodity business, operations, shipping, inventory, logistics and/or various modes of transport
- Experience and knowledge of operations workflow and efficient ways of carrying out operations
- Ability to work under pressure, cope with sudden changes, hectic and demanding work environment which requires flexibility in working hours and adapting to the operational needs
- Possibility to be on stand-by and work if needed during weekends
- Good and proactive communication and collaboration skills
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Performance and result driven mindset with the ability to make quick decisions
- Fluency in written and oral English
- Previous knowledge of ERP-systems (e.g. SAP, DistX), reporting (e.g. Power BI) and/or data mining tools (e.g. Celonis)
- Fluency in other languages is considered a plus
- Experience of working with customers
- Continual improvement mindset
