Hours per week: 20 – 32 hours , Location: Eelde/Groningen Airport
Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative HR Officer to join our team and help ensure smooth and effective HR operations. In this role, you will support the full spectrum of HR activities: from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, HR administration, and policy compliance.
Main responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records and HR systems.
- Process employment changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support.
- Help resolve workplace issues and contribute to employee engagement efforts.
- Support performance review processes and employee development plans.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and policy updates.
- Provide general administrative support and contribute to HR projects.
- Assist with job postings, interview coordination, contract preparation, and onboarding.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO or University) in Human Resources or related field.
- Relevant work experience (3+ years) in a similar HR role.
- Familiarity with HRIS/ERP systems (e.g., we use NMBRS at this moment and are implementing a new one).
- Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR best practices.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
