Howden Thomassen Compressors is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Our products have made a valuable difference for our clients for the past 100 years, and we are now looking for a Project Manager who will join our team and who will support in making a valuable difference in the century to come.As a Manager Logistics you have a big impact on our manufacturing plant in Rheden, The Netherlands nd you will be responsible for logistics as well as warehousing.This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly motivated team to capture the growth opportunities in the renewable hydrogen market!

What needs to be done?

Supervise packing and warehouse teams to ensure safe and efficient processes and inventory accuracy.
Identify and implement cost optimization and efficiency improvements within logistics operations.
Manage, coach, and develop the logistics team to achieve departmental objectives and best practices.
Maintain accurate metrics, reports, and documentation to support decision-making.
Develop and implement logistics strategies and process improvements to enhance operational performance
and cost efficiency.
Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company
policies.
Oversee shipping operations to ensure compliance with international regulations and timely deliveries.

• Proven experience in managing and developing teams.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members.

Analytical Skills:

• Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement cost optimization strategies.

• Strong analytical skills to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.

• Ability to provide clear and concise reports and documentation.

Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of logistics operations, shipping regulations, and warehouse management.

• Familiarity with logistics software and tools.

Problem-Solving:

• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to shipping compliance and customer

delivery.

• Ability to handle complex logistics challenges and find effective solutions.
