In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Business Growth: Achieve Sales and Bookings targets for the full Pressure Management Portfolio within the agreed account portfolio. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Pressure Management position in the Netherlands.
- Customer Engagement: Lead the customer relation, build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, EPCs, and contractors to position Emerson as a trusted partner. Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business needs and propose tailored solutions which address those needs.
- Account Management: Develop and implement account strategies, handle the full sales cycle, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Commercial Leadership: Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals.
- Technical Support: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to translate customer challenges into tailored pressure management solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, customer trends, and market developments to support long-term growth strategies.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums to strengthen visibility and credibility in the market.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Emerson’s internal teams including application engineering, project management, cross-business unit teams and customer support to deliver on customer commitments.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
- Strong knowledge of industrial processes, ideally within the petrochemical or energy sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and handling customer relationships.
- Experience in keeping track of sales activities using specific tools (Excel, Power BI, CRM)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering within industrial equipment (preferably valves, pressure management, or flow control).
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills; ability to connect with all levels of the customer’s organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and Dutch.
- Ability to travel regularly within the Netherlands
