JOB MISSION:
The Retail IT Systems Analyst, EMEA is a multifaceted collaborative role that blends both business and technical proficiency to support critical retail functions including merchandising, allocation, finance, store operations and collaborate with other cross functional groups. With a strong understanding of Retail ERP back-office systems, the analyst will be a key contributor for day-to-day operations to ensure that they have the right systems, processes, and information to elevate the business and ultimately the customer experience.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong retail background, an aptitude for working with application support, proven problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Partner with the Merchandizing & Allocation team to deliver and support Pricing, Purchase order management for brick & mortar stores.
- Partner with the Finance team to deliver and support Sales Audit, Inventory Management and other financial functionalities & reporting.
- Partner with global counterparts to inform and drive system and solution enhancements.
- Collaborate and partner across the entire IT organization and with external vendors to drive resolution.
- Ownership of (improvement) activities and issues + ensure they are followed up and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitor IT process flows daily and provide necessary support
- Contribute to continuous review and improvement of EMEA operational workflows and systems.
- Partner with POS engineer and maintain an up-to-date POS lab and thoroughly testing all POS releases.
- Support store openings and refits providing hands-on monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure readiness and execution.
- Willingness to provide support to regional business operations outside of local hours.
- Document and maintain requirements for supported systems effectively.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Previous experience with exposure to Direct to Consumer (DTC) business. Retail experience is a must
- Skilled in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of Retail systems (Merchandizing, Sales Audit and POS) experience and middleware integrations
- Knowledge of Aptos and/or D365 Commerce is a plus
- Proficiency in relational databases (SQL Server), SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS), and XML, JSON, and flat file data formats and PowerShell scripting
- Basic understanding of hardware and network required to operate a store, ability to trouble shoot issues
- Strong analytics skills
- Great stakeholder management skills, internal and external (e.g. vendors)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
