Student Job – Receptionist

About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Receptionist to join our base team for the remainder of the season. This is a front-line role where you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome and supported throughout their holiday experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Morning check-out of returning customers, including conducting customer surveys to capture satisfaction and feedback on Le Boat services.
- Afternoon check-in of new arrivals, delivering clear health and safety instructions, and providing a warm welcome.
- Upselling & Promotion – promoting and selling optional extras such as bike hire, BBQ sets, extra cushions, and insurance to enhance guest experience.
- Customer Service Excellence – delivering professional, friendly, and efficient service at all times.
- Handling guest questions, concerns, and requests both face-to-face and over the phone/email.
- Supporting the base team with administrative tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or tourism is desirable but not essential.
- A positive, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear instructions.
- Fluent in English (comfortable speaking with customers)
- Bonus: Dutch, German, or French skills
- Confidence in speaking with guests and collecting feedback.
- Sales or upselling experience is an advantage.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
