Working as part of our Tesla Service Spare Parts team you’ll support with the direct purchasing and material planning for Tesla EMEA service spare parts. You will be mainly focusing on the purchasing process; this will include sourcing, onboarding new suppliers, negotiating quotations, and general project management.
What You'll Do
- Learn how to evaluate our current supply chain flow on certain parts and making proposals based on different requirements
- Help the team develop, manage, audit and correct supplier planning and execution of component manufacturing, assembly, and quality processes
- Collaborate with Tesla Design, Quality, and Manufacturing to determine the ideal performance specification and supplier metrics
- Learn how to check supplier actions involving design and/or process changes to ensure they are robust, sustainable, and implemented across potential manufacturing lines
- Help validate suppliers to ensure their ability to meet part performance, delivery and reliability expectations
- Support with supplier improvements in scalability, cost, and quality
What You'll Bring
- Preferably studying a relevant field i.e. Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing/Process Engineering
- Level C1 in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency with Excel
- Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to review and improve processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A strong team player
