What is the position?
The R&D laboratory is part of the Apollo Global R&D (Enschede, The Netherlands) organization and is responsible for testing raw materials, compounds, components and tyres for the Apollo organisation in Europe. The department consists of 17 employees and is divided in 3 groups: a preparation-, physical- and chemical laboratory. The R&D laboratory is constantly looking for new, inventive methods to make sure that our tyres fulfill the requirements of customers.
We are looking for a technician who can work in the Chemical laboratory.
What are the responsibilities?
The work will mainly consist of the following general activities:
- Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Preparation and measurement of samples for product development and/or quality control
- Judgment on measurement results and reporting
- Supporting method development by execution of new tests and proposing increased efficiencies
- Other general activities (e.g. cleaning, safety aspects, maintenance of raw materials and tools).
- Implement new test methods in the laboratory data system
Your profile
- MBO laboratory education or process operator, minimum level 4
- Preferable 3-year experience in a laboratory R&D environment
- Knowledge of IT systems (LIMS)
- Good English language skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to work in multi-functional teams.
