As a Business Process and System Expert (BPSE) you translate business requirements into a solution, including a Functional Design for the Ariba system and ensure realization and implementation is executed in a professional manner
Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM)
PVM - a global unit within Rabobank consisting of approximately 110 FTEs - is the process owner of procurement and vendor management processes and contributes to a strong cooperative bank by procuring goods and services at the optimal mix of low costs, low supplier risk, and maximum value for Rabobank. PVM's activities can be divided into five underlying processes: Strategic category management, Sourcing & contracting, Supply risk management, Supplier and contract life cycle management, and Requisition-to-Pay. Recently, PVM has been asked to expand its service portfolio with three additional services: "Intragroup Arrangements" (internal deliveries between Rabobank entities) and "Non Supplier Business Partners" (relationships of the bank to whom we pay money, but who are not suppliers) and the Report Ownership of the DORA register of information.
The application PRISMA (based on Ariba upstream) is the global single source for the data of suppliers, supplier contracts and supply risks. PRISMA is a high visibility application, because the heavy regulations in the banking sector require extensive and qualitative data on supply risk. The user community spans from buyers, vendor managers and risk experts, to senior management in their role as contract- and risk owner.
Your responsibilities
- Lead S2P initiatives
- Capture business needs and drive process and system solutions.
- Achieve alignment and buy-in on related solutions
- Deliver functional design for assigned user stories
- Perform feasibility studies on new requirements
- Drive continuous improvement by best practice sharing / learning
- Clarify and communicate the impact of change
- Actively interact with other domain experts to share knowledge
- Support system implementation projects and ensure processes are implemented as designed.
You and your talent
- Professional Bachelor/Master level knowledge
- Extensive working experience with and deep knowledge of global procurement processes & systems (Source-to-Pay).
- Solid experience with Ariba Source to Contract, Supplier Management and Risk modules
- Good understanding of Ariba buying
- Preferably experience in a Procurement role
- Proven execution power, get things done together, in time and with right quality.
- Strong communicator, fluent in English and preferably in Dutch
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
- Knowledge of procurement in financial services industry is a pre
- You are highly analytical, know how to quickly get to the heart of an issue, and you can express yourself explicitly.
- You know what it is like to operate in a complex stakeholder landscape.
