Job Summary
As a Client Service Representative, you will play an important role in supporting our clients throughout their journey with us. Working closely with the Client Service and Business Development teams, youll provide excellent customer support to both buyers and sellers, ensuring smooth participation in our auctions. While deep product expertise is not required, an interest in whisky, wine, or spirits is highly desirable. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with customer service experience who is eager to learn more about the world of fine and rare bottles.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with general enquiries about the auction process, listings, and account management.
- Provide friendly, timely, and professional communication to ensure a positive client experience.
- Help guide new sellers through the basics of listing bottles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with auction standards.
- Support buyers with questions about bidding, payments, and order fulfilment.
- Sales & Engagement Support
- Work alongside senior colleagues to identify opportunities to engage and retain clients.
- Promote core services (e.g., bottle listings, valuations, storage) when appropriate.
- Assist with outreach to new or inactive accounts under guidance from the Business Development team.
- Operational & Administrative Tasks
- Support with auction preparation tasks such as listing checks, data entry, and basic catalogue/photography support.
- Assist with warehouse fulfilment activities, including coordinating client orders when needed.
- Gather client feedback and share insights to help improve processes and customer experience.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with a professional and approachable manner.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Comfortable using standard office software (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and willing to learn CRM/auction tools.
- A positive, customer-first mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile for clients.
- Interest in whisky, wine, or spirits - detailed product knowledge not required but a passion to learn is encouraged.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in German, Dutch, or French is highly desirable (at least one strongly preferred).
- Customer service experience in e-commerce, retail, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to assist with auction listing, photography, or warehouse fulfilment tasks is a plus.
Additional Info, Salary and Benefits
We are offering a Full-time position with a starting salary of €32,000 FTE
Our office hours are 08:45 to 17:15, Monday to Friday.
Staff have the opportunity for training (e.g, WSET) and attending industry events and festivals. Support for any professional training requirements will be considered.
