Who we look for
We are looking for a Country Manager Sales - Netherlands (f/m/d/x), who will join our team and take full ownership of establishing and growing Shopfully’s presence in the Dutch market.
This is a strategic, hands-on, and entrepreneurial role. As our first hire in the Netherlands, you will lay the foundation for our market entry, develop commercial partnerships, and shape our local business strategy — with a clear perspective to build and lead a local team as we grow.
What you will do
- You’ll launch Shopfully in the Netherlands and drive its growth from the ground up
- You’ll take a truly hands-on approach to sales, actively engaging with clients, driving new business acquisition, and ensuring profitability – from cold calls and first outreach to closing deals. Your success will be measured by tangible sales impact.
- You’ll define and execute a commercial strategy tailored to the Dutch market, in alignment with our international goals
- You’ll identify, pitch, and secure commercial partnerships with key retailers, brands, and media agencies
- You’ll act as the local face of Shopfully, representing the company in client meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions
- You’ll collaborate closely with global teams and stakeholders (Marketing, local Sales teams, Product, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation of local campaigns
- You’ll take full commercial responsibility for the Dutch market, including revenue targets
- You’ll continuously analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to optimize your approach
- Over time, you’ll build and lead a high-performing local team across commercial and operational functions
What you will need
- You have 7+ years of experience in digital media sales and/or business development
- You have a deep understanding of the Dutch digital advertising, media, and retail ecosystem and bring an existing client portfolio and strong, active network
- You have a proven track record of launching and growing new markets or business units
- You thrive in building things from scratch and are comfortable working independently in the early phase
- You bring both strategic vision and hands-on execution skills
- You’re a strong communicator and relationship builder
- You’re fluent in Dutch and English
