What will you be doing in this role?
- Contribute to secure solution architectures
- Provide security accreditation input during design, implementation, transition
- Support Security Risk Assessments
- Identify threats, vulnerabilities, residual risks; propose mitigations
- Recommend alternate technical solutions for identified risks
- Develop SAPs, SRSs, SRARs, SecOPs
- Manage and observe/witness STVPs and security testing
- Liaise with SAAs, PMs, and System Managers
- Represent agency in SABs, stakeholder meetings, working groups
- Define, document, and manage accreditation requirements
- Support IFBs, bid evaluations, acquisition documentation
- Engage stakeholders to clarify/prioritize accreditation requirements
- Resolve conflicting needs and constraints
- Contribute to highlight reports, exception reports, strategic plans
- Deliver briefings and presentations on security accreditation
- Stay current with cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance tech
- Join knowledge sharing and tech review sessions
- Analyze reports on device compliance, usage, and management
- Provide insights into device fleet health and security posture
- Collaborate with IT support to solve complex device issues
- Act as subject matter expert in mobile device management
- Maintain documentation for Cloud Operations processes and workflows
- Train and support staff for knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with IT security, compliance, and other teams
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather needs and resolve issues
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Holds at least a High school leaving certificate and one following certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP
- 5+ years supporting cybersecurity projects in large-scale CIS environments
- 5+ years in system security engineering, accreditation, and architecture
- Proven national accreditation experience
- Familiar with SAP, SRS, STVP lifecycle documentation
- Understands accreditation structures and stakeholder dynamics
- Skilled in security risk assessments and SRARs
- Familiar with NIST SP 800-30 and ISO 27005
- Can advise on remediation and residual risk
- Can interpret/implement policy; experience in policy development
- Understands secure hybrid/public cloud architectures
- Knowledgeable in IAM and ZTNA concepts
- Familiar with encryption, DLP, and data protection strategies
- Capable of presenting security posture to senior audiences
- Liaises with SAAs, PMs, operational authorities
- Represents in SABs and NATO working groups
- Handles conflict resolution and accreditation negotiations
- Advises on accreditation in proposals, bids, tenders
- Supports security deliverables across project lifecycle
- Provides input during procurement, development, deployment
- Trained in risk/audit
- Proficiency in English language at a C1/C2 level.
- Proficiency in French language is an asset
