Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key part of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to customers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate is punctual, customer-focused, and comfortable navigating various delivery routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses safely and on schedule.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and handling delivery issues.
- Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo according to company procedures.
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver (preferred).
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles (cars, vans, or light trucks).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Physically fit; able to lift packages and load/unload goods.
Working Conditions:
- May involve long hours, including weekends or evenings.
- Work is performed in a vehicle and on the road.
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
