To strengthen our team, VSTEP is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator. As Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will manage the execution and growth of our digital presence across social media, newsletters, and websites. Your work will help expand reach, activate our audiences, and strengthen brand engagement across all VSTEP brands.
What will you be doing?
Social Engagement and Community Support
- Coordinate content calendar and publishing across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Monitor and respond to our online communities; escalate questions or feedback to brand managers or business developers as appropriate.
- Collaborate with interns or agency partners to support visual and multimedia content.
- Draft, schedule, and distribute newsletters aligned with product updates, events, and brand storytelling.
- Manage subscriber lists and use email marketing tools like Mailchimp.
- Track open and click rates; suggest content improvements and optimize future campaigns.
- Maintain and update the VSTEP website and NAUTIS and NAUTIS Home community sites with relevant content and media.
- Ensure content accuracy and timely publishing in alignment with product launches and marketing goals.
- Collaborate with developers, JKC agency, and internal stakeholders to improve user experience and resolve issues.
- Monitor and analyze social, email, and website performance.
- Report monthly on metrics like reach, engagement, site traffic, and conversion trends.
- Use insights to support decision-making and improve digital content strategy.

You are:
- Energetic, detail-oriented, and digitally savvy.
- Comfortable collaborating with agencies, developers, and internal stakeholders to align digital output with marketing strategy.
- Passionate about building meaningful engagement through digital content.
- Curious and proactive about learning what works, why, and how to improve it.
- A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a digital marketing, content, or community engagement role.
- Strong writing and publishing skills for social media, email newsletters, and web content.
- Collaborative mindset with a clear communication style.
- Experience with WordPress for managing and updating website content.
- Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and Mailchimp.
- A Solid understanding of digital engagement best practices across channels.
- A Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Basic image or video editing skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express) are a plus.
- A valid Dutch work permit, to live and work in the Netherlands.
