Organization Overview:
The Executive Director, Head of Global Launches Supply Chain is the key liaison role for the Parenteral and Device Network Leader for Manufacturing Lead Team, has accountability for the leadership, supervision, and development of the team responsible Parenteral Product Supply Chain Leadership, working with sites and Orchestrated Planning Leads on capacity planning, inventory planning, production planning & flavor management to ensure supply on a global level.
This Parenteral Network Lead is responsible for developing an organizational focus on end-to-end supply chain planning, driving business area plans, and making decisions guided by functional strategies.

Responsibilities:
Functional:
- Establish and drive capacity planning vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Lead the supply plan for Parenteral Network GS&OP governance discussion forums.
- Make business-critical decisions, resolve supply chain escalations with leadership, and collaborate effectively with multiple business areas.
- Drive exception management for supply plan adherence and distribution attainment.
- Optimize inventory management by implementing policies, standards, metrics, and procedures.
- Facilitate production planning by collaborating with site leadership.
- Foster collaboration, drive production planning, and facilitate flavor management.
Leadership:
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet objectives and deliver results.
- Demonstrate depth and versatility of knowledge of the various components of syringe/device supply planning; remain current with evolving regulations and regulatory expectations.
- Manage performance of direct reports to foster the development of technical capabilities.
- Manage resources and budget for the area of responsibility.
Basic Requirements:
- BS, MS or equivalent degree in relevant discipline.
- Has 10+ years business experience which includes 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry including demonstrated experience managing projects.
- APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society), Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified preferred.
- Advanced skills with key applications for Program Management (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Visio, etc.)
- Supply planning processes knowledge and understanding of technical issues.
- Proven track record in capacity scenario planning, driving inventory optimization, collaborating with site leadership for production planning.
- Experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional, multi-site, international teams.
