The role
As Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic (Outfitting), you will support the engineering functionalities in our Computer Aided Design platform, with a special focus on Cadmatic Outfitting, across the product lifecycle process. You will drive efficiency and effectiveness across our engineering processes, making a tangible impact on our projects.
Key accountabilities
As Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic (Outfitting) your responsibilities will include:
Translate engineering business needs into functional specifications for the application developments.
Analyze issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions.
Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
Manage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic Outfitting.
Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
Setup and configure project environments within Cadmatic Outfitting and Hull.
Manage catalogs, libraries, specifications, and other project related data setup.
Organize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Cadmatic Outfitting.
Prepare and develop CADMATIC training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.
Activitities as Functional Application Specialist 3DX Fluids stream (Piping, HVAC & Mechanical) can be part of this function (i.e. same role on the new tooling platform).
Skills & experience
For the vacancy of Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic (Outfitting) we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor degree or proven competence combined with proficiency with Cadmatic platform, ideally also affinity with CATIA and the 3DExperience platform (Dassault Systemes).
Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.
Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required and candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
