An exceptional opportunity to join a key player in the energy sector with a unique service offering, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Supply Chain Management for a challenging role in coordinating and managing SCM activities across the business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the CEO in developing and refining the company’s strategic vision and goals.
- Provide leadership and oversight to key operational functions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance organizational performance.
- Create and implement best practice for organizational vison, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
- Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
- Provide visionary leadership to foster innovation and excellence.
- Demonstrate adaptability and resilience, showcasing the ability to navigate uncertainty, overcome challenges, and adjust strategies as needed.
Team Management
- Build, lead, and mentor a high performing SCM team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Identify and pursue new business partnerships, and markets to minimize costs whilst maintaining quality
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
Supply Chain & Procurement Solutions
- Oversee the development and implementation of procurement strategies, procedures and policies for cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
- Oversee the identification, evaluation and selection of suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organizational and project goals.
- Manage supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics and cost savings to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Implement sustainable and socially responsible strategic sourcing practices as well as promoting ethical sourcing.
Financial Management
- Collaborate with the finance teams to develop and manage budget related activities within supply chain and procurement management.
- Meet, measure and exceed performance results, within agreed budget.
- Actively analyze supply chain and procurement performances against quotes and plans to determine results and effectiveness.
Abilities & Qualities
- Strong and effective negotiation and influencing skills.
- A strong, proven engineering and commercial background.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and an understanding of key performance indicators are essential.
- Display a global mindset to understand international markets, cultural nuances, and adapt commercial strategies to different regions.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Effective communicator who is able to convey complex technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field.
- An advanced degree is desirable.
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience within the energy/oil & gas sector of which 5 years in a key leadership role.
- The legal requirements to work and reside in the EU and Netherlands is desirable.
