Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Aalten, The Netherlands - Hybrid
Contract: Fixed Term - 12 months.

Germains Seed Technology, a prominent innovator in seed treatments with over 200 experts across eight international locations, is seeking a motivated and commercially minded HR Business Partner to support our diverse teams in Aalten and Enkhuizen. In this pivotal role, you will partner with line managers to enhance leadership capability, embed effective HR processes, and implement people strategies in a continuously evolving environment. What you'll be doing
- Lead and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and talent development activities in partnership with the central recruitment team, while coaching managers throughout the process.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on managing short- and long-term absence cases effectively and in line with best practices.
- Support line managers in enhancing performance management by encouraging prompt actions regarding underperformance and pinpointing individuals for further development.
- Oversee the annual salary review process and implement CAO changes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Promote full utilisation of the HR system by training and supporting managers to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Manage local HR policies to ensure they are up-to-date, legally compliant, and aligned with CAO regulations, while collaborating with payroll on timely and accurate variance submissions.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Labour Law, or Business Administration, with approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Effective verbal and written communication for presentations and interactions in both Dutch and English.
- Solid foundational knowledge of Dutch labour law and experience working with collective labour agreements (CAO)
- Demonstrated ability to manage performance evaluations, oversee absenteeism issues, and resolve conflicts
- Familiarity with HR systems and tools.
