Internship direct service parts control process optimization

Introduction

Within ASML, the Service Hub organization focuses on delivering on-time in-full field service items and commercial packages towards our customers to ensure maximal utilization of the machines in the field. To fully optimize this flow, we introduce the Direct Service Part process to deliver field service items directly from the vendors to the customer organizations. The process involves multiple departments (D&E, PLM, SO, CSCM) with shared responsibility and required precise timing for correct implementation.

Your assignment

As an intern in the Service Hub Safety, Quality, and Excellence team, your role is to help design a standardized control process that facilitates the inter-departmental communication and performance measurement. Furthermore, once the process is in place, you will also need to create a knowledge sharing portal that documents the necessary steps. To achieve this, you will need the following:

• Create a project plan to track status, prioritize tasks, and report on progression.
• Involve the necessary departments to ensure alignments before develop a control process
• Utilize the current reporting tool to develop the communication channel
• Documentation of process and development of training materials (if required)

This is a bachelor or master apprentice internship for 6 to 12 months. The start date for this internship is preferred to be 01/09/2025.

Your profile

• Fluent in English
• Currently studying towards a relevant bachelor's or master's Degree (Organizational Management or Business Administration)
• Interested in Organization Management and Process Design
• Knowledge of MS Office applications is required
• Team player and experienced in Stakeholder Management
• Have strong written and oral communication skills
• Highly Motivated and willing to take initiative

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
• You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
