Internship – Global Strategic Insights
Help build and integrate consumer-centricity for the business globally via understanding of consumer dynamics, brands and fostering a sense of community within the global insights organization.
The internship
You will be involved in different projects within the Strategic Insights team focused on inspiring, provoking and empowering the business to always put the consumer at the heart of decision-making.
- Consumer Insights Support
- Support the consumer learning plan to better understand consumer needs, behaviours, occasions and innovation opportunities within the beverage category.
- Support understanding and deployment of Marketing Effectivness
- Global Brand Insights Support
- Support the Strategic Insights team developing insights on Global Brands (Heineke, Birra Moretti, Tiger, Desperados)
- Assist in various research projects helping to display data, analyse trends and build compelling stories.
- Global Insights Community Support
- Develop and execute communications for the Global Insights community, using multiple channels (e-mail, intranet, community calls, newsletters) and formats to drive the Strategic Insights purpose and action plan across regions
- Coordinate agenda and presentation deck for monthly hub calls

The department
The Global Strategic Insights Team is part of Global Commerce Innovation, Insight and Design Team, a truly multidisciplinary and multicultural team. We develop insight that enables us to win the hearts of consumers.

The terms of employment
- Your starting date is 1 September 2025
- The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
- The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
- It is a practice-oriented internship
- You will be based in Heineken Head office: Stadhouderskade 79, 1072 AE Amsterdam
- Working from the office (but also possible to work from home some days)
- You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
- You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
- If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

- A passion for the world of beer and zero alcohol beverages
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to work across multiple projects at once, to deal with multiple project owners and to manage your own time.
- Highly motivated with strong sense of personal initiative.
- We will consider applicants from all academic disciplines and levels, but specific attention will be paid to those from marketing, market research, business, data analytics or communication backgrounds.

Conditions of HEINEKEN
- You are enrolled at an educational institution.
- In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
- In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
