MAIN ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, villas, and
- facilities.
- Handle corrective maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting,
- and HVAC.
- Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to guests with technical issues.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping to minimize guest disturbance during
- repairs.
- Monitor and report on safety systems to ensure compliance with regulations and resort
- standards.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments and report major technical issues to supervisors.
- Support resort presentation, landscaping, projects, and event setups when required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Technical diploma or proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in luxury hospitality.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Professional appearance with a guest-friendly attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English (Dutch or Papiamentu is an advantage).
- Ability to anticipate needs, act proactively, and maintain discretion.
- Calm, professional demeanor that reflects Baoase’s luxury service standards.
