Manager Transaction Monitoring MI/BI & Reporting

You and your job

As the Manager of the MI/BI Reporting Team within the FEC Transaction Monitoring (TM) domain, you are responsible for developing and managing reporting and data-driven insights that support performance, risk, and strategic decision-making within the Financial Economic Crime (FEC) domain.

You lead a team of experienced professionals and actively contribute to the development of the department. Approximately half of your time is dedicated to hands-on involvement in reporting and data initiatives.

You report to the Head of the TM Change Portfolio and are a member of the TM Change Portfolio Management Team. Your scope of responsibility includes Retail, Wholesale & Rural (W&R), and subsidiaries.

The MI team delivers both internal management reports and regulatory reporting to De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). It also manages business definitions, handles data requests, and builds structural Power BI solutions. Within the team, Reporting Specialists focus on data analysis and key metrics, the Product Manager manages dashboard infrastructure and WFM tooling, and the Business Partner ensures alignment between business and IT for impactful reporting.

• Lead and develop the MI/BI Reporting Team, fostering an inspiring and results-oriented work environment while actively participating in the team’s operational and strategic activities.
• Develop and maintain a robust, future-proof reporting framework that translates complex data into clear management information and strategic insights.
• Act as sign-off authority for reporting packages and advise senior management based on data analysis and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the FEC domain to strengthen data-driven decision-making and ensure alignment across Retail, W&R, and subsidiaries.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and tooling, with a strong focus on innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.

You and your talent

• Academic working and thinking level (WO), preferably in Data Science, Business Administration, or Econometrics.
• At least 7 years of relevant work experience, including several years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, or similar).
• A strong data background and experience working in a regulated (banking) environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align across domains.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You are analytical, a connector, and capable of motivating and developing people.
