As a Mechanic Lead in our warehouse in Delft/Den Hoorn you are the indispensable link within the coolest team in our operation. You are largely responsible for the quality of our city bikes and e-bikes. In addition, you ensure that we are never surprised with our stock amounts! You make sure your team has a safe and fun environment to work in!
How you pedal us forward!
You lead the coolest team within the Swapfiets, consisting of technicians, mechanics, and senior mechanics;
You coordinate the daily tasks and organize team meetings in which you always manage to motivate your team;
As a Mechanic Lead you also help with HR related processes such as recruitment, performance management, illness and leave;
You are responsible for keeping our stock management up-to-date;
You coordinate quality checks and the correct processing of data;
You support new colleagues with the onboarding program and provide training;
You ensure a safe working environment;
We strive for a 100% recyclable bicycle. As a point of contact for the waste flows in the workshop, you play an important role in making us more sustainable.
The gear you need!
You are a certified bicycle mechanic / car mechanic (MBO), although we find experience and craftsmanship more important;
You have experience in leading a team;
You are able to coach and enthuse colleagues;
You are available full time,
You have an eye for detail and you are a perfectionist;
You are fluent in English
