A Day in the Life

The Principal Advanced Analytics Analyst works in a high-performing team responsible for delivering business-facing analytics applications across the Microsoft Power Platform within Global Operations & Supply Chain (GO&SC). This developer will ensure delivery of scalable, reliable, and innovative analytics solutions that empower decision-making across PLAN, DELIVER, TRADE, and other Centers of Excellence (COEs).

You will drive the strategic vision of analytics within GO&SC, mentoring analysts and developers, and partner with business stakeholders and data teams to deliver applications that simplify operations and improve outcomes. A key accountability is maintaining and enhancing the production analytics environment, ensuring operational continuity, data quality, and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage
• Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification
• Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems
• Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
• May have broad knowledge of project management
• Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A)
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
