Vacancy: Production Assistant

About us:
SoundCell is a rapidly growing startup based at Yes!Delft. We develop measuring equipment that helps doctors quickly determine which antibiotics will work best for hospitalized patients with infections (visit our website: www.soundcell.nl). As our Production Assistant, your hands-on work will ensure we produce high-quality cartridges and keep our lab machines running smoothly—contributing to faster, more effective patient care.
What will you do:
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Prepare and assemble our sterile cartridges from initial raw materials to final packaging and ensure each cartridge meets strict quality standards.
- Assist in the assembly of our automated production line.
- Service and maintain the lab machinery used to produce our cartridges.
- Managing inventory of raw materials and finished products to ensure continuous production.
- Accurately document production steps, maintenance tasks, and corrective actions.
What we offer:
- A gross (full-time) monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,600 (depending on your knowledge and experience) and holiday pay (8%).
- 25 vacation days (based on a full-time position), plus national holidays.
- Minimum of 32 hours per week.

What we are looking for:
- Hands on technical background: BSc degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering) or vocational training.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, equipment maintenance, or a similar role.
- You have a steady hand, follow procedures carefully, and maintain high quality standards.
- You enjoy identifying issues, troubleshooting, and making quick, effective repairs and are enthusiastic about assisting in improving our production line.
- You already live in the Netherlands.
