Sales Account Manager
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with existing clients and partners. Your role will involve identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling, calculating costs for Guardian Group Fatum products, and providing dedicated support to your accounts. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team to further strengthen our direct sales efforts, broker and bank partnerships, and employee benefits services.
What will you do?
- Presenting, promoting, and selling our products and services to existing and prospective customers using well-founded arguments.
- Managing requests from brokers and banks and ensuring timely, effective follow-up to support business growth.
- Servicing pension clients and group accounts by providing tailored solutions and building strong, lasting relationships.
- Performing cost-benefit and needs analyses to align offerings with customer expectations and requirements.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and business partners.
- Conducting acquisition activities to attract new clients and expand market presence.
- Meeting agreed sales targets and delivering results within set deadlines.
- Handling customer complaints and problems efficiently to ensure optimal satisfaction.
- Coordinating sales activities with internal team members and other departments for a seamless customer experience.
- Representing the company during third-party seminars, events, and shows, including outside regular working hours.
- Providing training and support to clients to promote product understanding and success.
- Staying informed on industry trends to ensure our solutions remain innovative, competitive, and compliant.
- Actively seeking feedback and using it to continuously improve performance and customer service.
What do we expect from you?
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics or a related field
- Sales experience and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (motor, fire, life, property, medical etc.)
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- A team player who is highly motivated and target driven
- Good computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English, Dutch is preferred, Spanish and Papiamento is a plus
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in building long-lasting relationships
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with tight sales targets
- Competence in creating and delivering presentations tailored to the audience needs
