About the Role
As a Sales Manager in our Network team, you will play a critical role in expanding and optimizing our last-mile delivery operations across key markets. You will be responsible for growing our network through strategic partnerships with high-volume accounts (such as H&M and Albert Heijn), while ensuring operational excellence and financial efficiency. This role requires a proactive, people-oriented leader with a strong sales background and a deep understanding of how commercial decisions impact day-to-day operations.
An interest in logistics and the inner workings of supply chains will help you thrive in this role, as you'll be closely involved in shaping how goods move efficiently from our partners to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Build and manage relationships with strategic network partners and large retail clients.
- Drive commercial discussions and negotiate terms to support sustainable network growth.
- Represent Instabee externally to promote our value proposition to key stakeholders.
Network Expansion & Operational Collaboration
- Support the planning and execution of network expansions in alignment with market demand and company goals.
- Collaborate closely with operations, expansion, and logistics teams to ensure a seamless delivery network.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Own the budget planning for your area, ensuring alignment between network needs and financial targets.
- Monitor spending, analyze variances, and propose adjustments where needed
Leadership & Team Coordination
- Manage and support a small team, driving engagement and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
Stakeholder Communication
- Clearly communicate sales goals, performance updates, and operational impacts to internal teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects between sales, operations, and strategy
About You
You’re a proactive relationship-builder with a passion for sales and operational excellence. You understand how to connect commercial strategy with everyday execution, and you’re motivated by both growing partnerships and improving internal workflows. You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and know how to prioritize and drive impact.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in sales, account management, or operations.
- Some experience managing people or leading cross-functional projects is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in logistics or e-commerce is a strong plus.
- Comfortable using tools like Salesforce (preferred) and Excel/Sheets.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English.
