We’re looking for a forward-thinking, technically sharp Search Lead to drive Vio.com’s visibility across traditional, AI-powered, and emerging search surfaces.
This is a rare opportunity to unify SEM and SEO under one roof, while also preparing for the future of discovery across LLMs, AI agents, and zero-click ecosystems. You’ll own everything from Google Ads and PMAX to SEO content strategy, AI-driven optimization, and structured data working at the intersection of performance, content, and product.
You’ll operate in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment where search is seen not as a silo, but as a strategic growth engine for the entire funnel, from high-intent conversion to future-facing inspiration.
Reports to: Global Head of Growth & Acquisition
What you will do:
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
Own, scale and optimise global SEM campaigns, including Google Search, PMAX, and emerging LLM-optimized formats.
Lead keyword strategy, bidding logic, A/B testing, and performance monitoring across markets and funnels.
Drive automation, audience layering, and margin-based bidding strategies in close collaboration with analytics.
Partner with the Meta and CRM teams to ensure aligned investment, targeting, and exclusions across channels.
Leverage advanced tools and platforms like Google Ads Editor, SA360, and bid/keywords management to optimise campaigns efficiently.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Oversee technical SEO, on-page optimization, and scalable content strategy across core markets.
Partner with product and engineering on crawlability, site speed, structured data, and search index performance.
Lead the evolution of Vio’s SEO playbook for emerging surfaces: e.g. SGE, Perplexity, zero-click results, and voice/AI assistants.
Collaborate with our copywriters and brand team to ensure content ranks, converts, and reflects Vio’s tone of voice.
Search Innovation & AI discovery
Pioneer new approaches to AI-driven discoverability from conversational search to intent prediction.
Test and learn with tools, platforms, and models that improve visibility in non-traditional, AI-powered environments.
Help define how Vio shows up in the age of generative search and agent-based travel planning.
Who you are:
Min 7 years of experience in search marketing and SEO, ideally with exposure to both performance and content-led growth.
Proven experience scaling SEM campaigns and/or SEO programs in multi-market environments.
Deep knowledge of Google Ads, PMAX, and automated bidding systems; hands-on with keyword strategy and account structuring.
Strong technical SEO foundation: crawling, indexing, schema, Core Web Vitals, and international SEO best practices.
Comfort with AI-native surfaces (SGE, Perplexity, etc.) and a curiosity for what’s next in search.
Strategic and collaborative mindset able to partner across content, product, analytics, and acquisition.
(Bonus) Experience with app store optimization (ASA) or app search visibility.
(Bonus) Experience leading agencies, freelancers, or hybrid internal/external setups.
