The Marketing Events team is part of the Marketing Department, and has its mission to create unique marketing experiences that leave a lasting impression, and to bring Loyens & Loeff’s brand to life through well-planned client-centric events.
The Senior Events Adviser is directing a team of four event coordinators, based in the Netherlands, and working in close cooperation with local event coordinators across our home markets Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Your role
As Senior Events Adviser, you will own and lead one of our most important marketing communication channels of our firm: our client-facing events and large internal events. You will ensure that the events team operates at its full potential and you will act as a strategic adviser to your colleagues in the Marketing team.
Your key responsibilities include:
Managing the event planning, team capacity, budgeting, and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness;
Contributing to the development and optimisation of event tools, processes, and reporting methodologies.
Overseeing the planning and coordination of events (webinars, hybrid, live) across all offices: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Luxembourg, Zurich, and Brussels;
Providing daily guidance to a team of four event coordinators;
Advising internal stakeholders on event strategy, formats, and target audiences (both internal and external);
Reporting on the performance and impact of events in terms of brand positioning, visibility, and lead generation;
Managing signature firm and cross-border events;
What you bring
At least 8 years of relevant experience in event management, preferably in a professional services firm with international exposure;
Proven experience in team leadership and process optimisation;
Strong strategic and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee both the bigger picture and operational details;
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus);
A proactive, result-driven, and service-oriented mindset with a keen eye for quality and operational excellence.
