Terminal Planning Lead

Key responsibilities:
Adopt an “Air-traffic control view” overseeing cargo movements. Ensuring that transshipment and gateway flows are monitored and managed efficiently.
Adjust the size and allocation of assets (both at ocean terminals and landside) to match the demand and ensure efficient operations - aligning with customer delivery commitments.
Create a detailed matrix that maps out services and cargo flows through various hubs
Analyze deviations from the planned flows to identify issues and recommend structural solutions. This ensures that the network remains robust and efficient.
Develop and implement standardized procedures for berthing, including asset sequencing. This involves coordinating with the Fulfillment and Hub experience teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Actively manage the sequence of berthing operations in coordination with sending and receiving OCL OF (Ocean Carrier Line Operations) and Hub teams. This helps in maintaining network flows and ensuring timely connections.
Conduct quarterly network performance review of overall flows & connections and shaping next RoFo cycle with Network & Marketing .
Develop and lead scenario planning exercises to prepare for both planned and unplanned disruptions. This includes creating contingency plans and strategies to mitigate the impact of disruptions on the network.
Work closely with Hub Terminals on data modelling and scenario planning. This collaboration helps in optimizing cargo flows and improving overall efficiency through shared insights and coordinated efforts.
