An exciting opportunity has become available within the WB Products & Clients CoE, part of the Wholesale Banking FCP (WB FCP) organization in the Netherlands.
The WB Products & Clients CoE takes responsibility for compliance of Financial Institutional (FI) clients with external laws and internal policies relating to FEC, AML, and KYC. It provides a holistic view of the FI client portfolio, with a focus on Correspondent Banking (CB) and Payment Service Providers (PSPs). This role will support the management of portfolio controls, governance frameworks, and PSP governance across the WB organisation.
Your working environment
You will be supporting the PSP Governance Lead in ensuring alignment across the bank. You will be working closely with the Global FI Sector teams, Global Transaction Monitoring team within Global FCFP and te WB COO Organisation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Evaluate and support new clients and business cases, including existing clients with new product lines. Apply sector-specific expertise to ensure strategic alignment and risk mitigation.
- Governance Implementation - Maintain and implement governance frameworks for Correspondent Banks (CBs) and Payment Service Providers (PSPs), ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support Transaction Monitoring (TM) and Transaction Screening (TS) processes for assigned clients, handling both routine and ad-hoc requests.
- Assist in executing FCP procedures such as the KYC call process and Transaction Risk Review (TRR), contributing to a strong compliance culture.
- Translate business insights into investigative processes, supporting the SIU in identifying and escalating potential financial crime ris

- HBO+ level
- Several years relevant work experience in Financial Institutions sector, Non-Financial Risk Management and/or Financial Crime Prevention
- FI and PSP's Payments product knowledge
- Prioritizing and properly structuring your work.
- FCC Knowledge and experience regarding compliance risk assessments methodologies
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
