As our Finance Business Partner, it is essential you will have had experience in some form, within the contract catering industry. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations.

Job Description
As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of a contract within the Netherlands business.
You will play a key role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of our catering and hospitality units. You will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and effective collaboration with both site and central teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day in-unit bookkeeping systems, including processing purchase invoices and credit notes, daily revenue and cash reconciliation, stock transfer calculations, waste reporting, and weekly accounting closures.
- Submit weekly financial documentation to the central finance team.
- Maintain and manage accrual-related documentation (e.g. free issues, beverages, agency staff, and vending).
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual client reporting suites under a Cost Plus contract structure.
- Reconcile and report on client stock levels and variances.
- Produce client-specific analytical and performance reports.
- Prepare and post monthly accruals and journal entries.
- Review and submit Profit & Loss accounts.
- Issue monthly client invoices with appropriate backup documentation.
- Deliver quarterly financial reports to clients.
- Lead budgeting processes and perform balance sheet reconciliations for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee and process weekly payroll activities.
Qualifications
Your profile:
- Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the catering or food service industry.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large data sets.
- Proficient in spoken Dutch
- Experience working in a multi-site retail or catering business is essential.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a curious, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills—able to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence business decisions.
- You are available to work full-time (40 hours), Monday to Friday.
