Interim Team Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

We’re looking for an experienced and independent Team Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to step in and take charge of our P2P team during a transitional period. This is an intrerim role, covering for the current Team Lead who is leaving the company. Based in Amsterdam, this position will require frequent travel to Barcelona to ensure smooth collaboration and operations across locations.

In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind maintaining and optimizing our P2P processes while ensuring continuity and stability during the transition. We need a candidate who can hit the ground running, quickly adapt to our dynamic environment, and bring their expertise to make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of P2P specialists, ensuring continuity and building a high-performance culture.
• Set clear team goals aligned with the wider Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC) and company strategy.
• Act as a mentor, growing team capabilities in automation and process optimization.
• Build strong relationships with procurement, operations, and finance teams across TSH.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in, smooth execution, and team engagement during the move.
• Champion the move to smarter, automated processes, ensuring operational excellence.
• Spot opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and better service delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in financial operations.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or similar finance leadership roles.
• Proven ability to work independently, with the expertise to quickly adapt and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills: you inspire, coach, and create a high-performance team culture.
• Proven experience in project management, ideally in leading large-scale transformations.
• Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of automation and AI tools in finance.
• Skilled communicator who can bring stakeholders along on the journey and keep teams engaged through change.
• Comfortable working in an international, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Analytical and results-driven, but equally people-oriented and approachable.
• Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus).
• Nice to have: Experience in hospitality, shared services, or another dynamic, international industry.
• Nice to have: Exposure to large-scale ERP systems and finance transformation projects.
