HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:
As G-STAR's Lead Paid Search, you become the pilot of the Paid Search team, which is part of the bigger Global Digital Marketing Team. This team consists of an enthusiastic and experienced group of digital specialists (for example: Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate and CRM, CDP, App). You will coach a team of 2 specialists.
In the Digital Marketing team, we have big ambitions and lots of motivation to drive maximum impact on the growth of G-STAR, while having lots of fun as well! The team is responsible for creating the global digital marketing strategy for G-STAR and ensure a flawless execution. We do this in close collaboration with the different regional marketing teams, the E-commerce team, our inhouse creative brand team and our data teams.
As our new Lead Paid Search, you will drive the global paid search strategy across 20+ markets, managing multimillion-euro budgets and leading a team of specialists. You will be responsible for full-funnel performance, from awareness to conversion, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing ROAS, reducing CAC, and improving LTV.
This is a high-impact role for a data-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is passionate about performance marketing, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead the global paid search strategy across all Google and Microsoft advertising products, including Search, Shopping, Display, App Campaigns, and Brand Growth initiatives.
- Own the full-funnel media approach, ensuring seamless integration across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
- Manage and mentor a team of paid media specialists, fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and collaboration.
- Forecast and optimize budgets to maximize ROAS and meet revenue targets, in close collaboration with finance and commercial teams.
- Own the Joint Business Plan (JBP) with key partners like Google and Microsoft, aligning on strategic priorities, innovation roadmaps, and co-marketing opportunities.
- Oversee product feed management, ensuring high-quality, optimized feeds that support Shopping and dynamic ad campaigns across platforms.
- Drive innovation through structured testing, including A/B tests, incrementality studies, and audience segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with eCommerce, GTM, Trade, Creative, and Data teams to align paid media with broader business goals.
- Analyse results on a daily basis and optimize your campaigns based on set KPI’s.
- Leverage advanced tools such as DV360 and SA360 to manage campaigns, optimize performance, and ensure consistent measurement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, testing new features and beta programs to maintain a competitive edge.
- Support local market initiatives, guiding regional teams on campaign localization, testing, and optimization.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience, strategic and hands-on, managing paid media campaigns and defining strategies cross Google and Microsoft platforms, including Search, Shopping, Display, and App campaigns.
- Strong expertise in Google Ads, DV360 and SA360, with a deep understanding of campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
- Experience with product feed management and campaign automation.
- Proven ability to lead full-funnel strategies and optimize performance across multiple markets and large-scale budgets.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in campaign measurement and testing methodologies (A/B, incrementality, audience segmentation).
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working in cross-functional and multi-regional teams.
- Relevant experience in the fashion, retail, or eCommerce industry is preferred.
- You have a data driven mindset and strong analytical skills.
- You have a hands-on mentality.
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills. You are organized, detailed-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at one time.
- You learn quickly and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You know how to set priorities and turn challenges into a solution.

- Have an intrinsic curiosity to stay up to date on the latest digital marketing and search developments.
