Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank’s gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING’s clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist epertise in selected emerging markets and products.
The Team
As the Tribe Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of approimately 300 to 400 professionals, including product area leads, product managers, product owners, customer journey eperts, and engineers. The tribe operates globally, with stakeholders and delivery capacity spanning from Singapore to Amsterdam to New York.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with your counterpart from WB Tech, the IT Lead for Pricing. Together, you will be accountable for all aspects of delivery and for building the supporting organization and team to achieve your objectives. Additionally, some teams within the Tribe Pricing are outside the FM Front Office and WB Tech, requiring you to ensure that your objectives are supported by other ING departments.
Role & Responsibilities
As an inspiring Tribe Lead for the Financial Markets and Group Treasury (FMGT) Pricing Tribe you create an environment where people can reach their full potential and where Product Area Leads, Product Managers, Product Owners and squads have the confidence to take responsibility for realizing value for ING and its WB customers. You act as an ambassador to all stakeholders within or outside of WB Financial Markets and Group Treasury through frequent interaction and alignment. The FMGT Pricing Tribe Lead is part of the FMGT Cluster Tribe Management Team and reports hierarchically to the FMGT Cluster Tribe Lead with functional reporting lines to Financial Markets Front Office, Group Treasury, and Operations & IT.
As Pricing Tribe Lead you steer the Tribe towards providing FM & GT Front Office and Risk Management with Pricing solutions allowing to manage their products and activities during the trading sessions and control their activities and related positions based on the overnight control process, in line with approved Limit Control Sheets. You also support solutions to provide pricing solutions to the different Client eecution venues, and reporting solutions.
You align Epics and programs towards FM and GT pricing-related objectives and work with relevant Product Area Leads to steer backlogs. You share responsibility for improving ING’s performance and identifying opportunities to better serve our customers:
- You translate the business strategy and ensuring the right priorities.
- You strengthen the “ING way of working” while safeguarding the Orange Code as a role model.
- Managing dependencies and stimulating interaction between people, tribes, products, squads, and chapters (within and outside the Pricing Tribe). You are end-to-end responsible for the FMGT Pricing capabilities including cost effective change delivery, service quality, non-financial risk in line with in-and e
- ternal requirements. You are accountable for the Tribe Strategy and business architecture including the e
- ecution of the global ING Pricing Architecture Strategy and alignment with the business strategy and priorities
- You build and maintain a strong working relationship with global business stakeholders in Financial Markets, Global Treasury, Wholesale Lending and with WB Tech colleagues and other members of the global and local community.
- You keep non-financial risks within appetite
- You will steer the Pricing Tribe across different countries, cultures, and time zones. You will assess the future direction, required capacity, and delivery of your Tribe towards FM/GT Cluster Tribe submission to the Quarterly Business Review process and support the business priority process.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and continuously improve Pricing solutions required for GM and GT business, covering the entire Product scope across all regions, Achieve and maintain all in and eternal regulatory compliance responsibilities for your Tribe for e
- isting, changed, and new regulations in your scope;
- Deliver on the Financial Markets and Group Treasury operating model strategy;
- Deliver on the pricing solutions standardisation, consolidation and simplification strategy; Directly engage with all key stakeholders from FM Trading and Sales, and Group Treasury; as well as Risk Management and e
- ternal regulators;
- Drive continuous improvement for your Tribe to increase the output and speed up the delivery time to market;
- Optimal collaboration and closed feedback loop with the FM and GT Operations and Risk Operations servicing your clients and other relevant parts of the organization;
- Building and owning the Continuous Delivery pipeline for front office solutions, joined deployment, Testing;
- Continuously strive for strategic centric solutions and further standardization in your area, with other Tribe / areas and across FM and GT Products.

Proven track record and technical skills:
- Master’s degree level.
- 10+ years’ proven track record at management level.
- A personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment. E

- perience in managing relationship and delivery for senior stakeholders. E
- perience/affinity with Wholesale Banking Tribes / Product Area(s) is a plus. E
- perience with Markets and Treasury
- Affinity with IT is a plus. Sound e
