Your mission
ibis budget Amsterdam City South is looking for a Front Office Receptionist and it could be YOU!Our hotel - which is part of the Accor hotel chain - has 314 rooms, a breakfast restaurant and a cool game room. We are centrally located between Amsterdam Buitenveldert and Amstelveen Stadshart and we are the ideal base to explore Amsterdam and the surrounding area. You can reach us by tram (which stops in front of the hotel!). Furthermore, our hotel is easily accessible by bicycle and you can park your car for free.

A day in the life of a receptionist:
- Handle smooth check-in and check-out procedures while warmly welcoming and bidding farewell to guests
- Communicate guest feedback and operational updates to relevant departments
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests – in person, over the phone, and via email
- Prepare daily arrivals and ensure all guest details are ready and accurate
- Support your colleagues with various front office tasks as needed
- Close your cashier at the end of the shift and complete all administrative duties precisely
- You play an important role in maintaining a respectful and fun work environment
Your profile
- An enthusiastic, guest-friendly host who enjoys working in a dynamic hotel environment
- You speak and write English well and have a good understanding of Dutch (other languages are a plus!)
- Experience with Opera Cloud PMS – or you're a fast learner and eager to pick it up
- Natural ability to connect with people and anticipate their needs
- Personality matters more to us than experience – bring your energy and flair for hospitality
