We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will work in the EMEA Indirect Tax Compliance Team of the Global Tax Team based in Amsterdam.  Â
The successful candidate will:
- Gain visibility to several functions throughout the organization including Tax, Accounting, Accounts Payable, with a strong focus on Indirect Tax and Indirect Tax Technology
- Develop time management skills
- Develop communication skills by interacting with team members & others within the organization Â
- Develop risk identification and analysis skills
During this internship, you will:
- Gain experience in using tax technologies for indirect tax reporting
- Assist in the preparation & filing of indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Gain insight into international trade flows for indirect tax
- Support the indirect tax team in both internal & external audits
- Use a number of different ERPs in preparing indirect tax filings
- Provide assistance in preparing reconciliations
- Assist in indirect tax projects
Required competencies of the candidate:
- You are enrolled at a European university in a bachelor's degree, or master’s degree program.  Preferable field of studies; business, finance, tax or relevant field.
- High interest in tax
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken (Dutch is a bonus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- NOTE: EU working rights are required
