Summary
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic System Engineer (Linux) to bring in DevOps experience to help our growing R&D Engineering team and manage our growing compute server infrastructure used by our global R&D teams for the design of our chips. This is a mission-critical role, and an opportunity to do deeply impactful work.
We will trust you with:
Setting up and maintaining Linux-based compute servers and desktops/notebooks;
Working with our engineers to integrate cloud services into our on-premises infrastructure according to their needs;
Bringing DevOps experience within software development, e.g., CI/CD pipeline, and Gitlab/runners;
Setting up and maintaining operating systems and automation software;
Providing end-user support to our engineering teams;
Taking care of Innatera’s Tooling, e.g., Ansible, FreeIPA, Cobbler, Uyini, GLPI;
Experience working with SCRUM.
Your experience includes:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, including on-prem computing infrastructure management;
Experience in DevOps within SDLC;
Experience with Proxmox Virtualization and distributed filesystem (CEPH/CEPHFS);
Good understanding of end-user hardware, software, Linux OS, and end-user periphery;
Knowledge in Linux OS system management, e.g., Docker, GitLab, VMs, NIS;
Experience in design and automation applications.
Nice to have:
Experienced with a fabless chip design environment;
Knowledge of implementing and managing design tool installations on-prem, e.g,. CAD, Matlab is a plus.
