The manager leads a team of individual contributors and managers, drives system improvements, and maintains accountability for their own cost center.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all day-to-day logistics operations for all parts movements throughout EMEA.
- Monitor and report costs, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership. Proactively address operational challenges to minimize disruptions.
- Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals and managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
- Secure and optimize transport capacity to meet fluctuating demand from Tesla’s aftersales and energy networks.
- Balance aftersales priorities with logistics constraints to reduce mileage and costs while maintaining service levels.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to enhance internal Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and automate workflows.
- Partner with regional delivery teams to streamline car sequencing, scheduling, and ETA accuracy.
- Ensure KPIs (e.g., OTD, OTIF, cost per unit) are met and communicated to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) in existing and new markets.
- Collaborate with Warehousing, Demand Planning, and Systems teams to align on best practices and ensure a seamless workflow.
- Ensure all operations are compliant with customs regulations and processes across all relevant markets
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years in logistics management, with expertise in automotive, ecommerce, or energy sectors.
- Proven track record in multi-modal transport, parcel deliveries, and hazardous material compliance.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in TMS/WMS and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English
- Experience in ecommerce logistics platforms and reverse logistics.
- Knowledge of energy product regulations (ADR, IATA).
