We're seeking a new colleague for the dispatch team! In this role, you'll be enriching our coffee's journey from the roastery to coffee lovers worldwide by deploying our orders all over the world. Do keep in mind that it is a physically intense job as you will have to lift boxes weighing 20kg, coffee buckets and use machinery to perform various tasks. This is a hybrid position, meaning that you will spend time most of your time preparing orders but also helping out with production if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack wholesale and retail orders
- Maintain our high standards by paying attention to every detail throughout the dispatch process, ensuring each coffee order is delivered to perfection. Inspect goods before dispatching to make sure the bags are not unsealed or the packaging is not dirty
- Collaborate with the team to check priorities of the day and also make sure no order is left behind.
- Completing paperwork or entering data into software to allow orders to be tracked
- Ensuring that storage areas are kept fully stocked at all times
- Following health and safety policies and procedures in the warehouse and roastery
- Help out with roastery organization
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Availability 36h/week (schedule will be mutually agreed upon, working in the weekend is also possible)
- Experience in picking and packing jobs is ideal but not mandatory
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Available to work from mid September onwards (the start date will be mutually agreed).
- Driver's license is a plus but not required
- Forklift/reachtruck license is not required but it's a big pre.
- An interest in or willingness to learn about new technology, computer literacy is a must
