Are you passionate about people, culture, and creating a workplace where everyone thrives? As People & Culture Executive, you’ll be the go-to person for our internal guests – your colleagues – and play a key role in shaping their work experience. You will take care of both administrative and operational tasks to support the departments within Pulitzer Amsterdam.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be the first point of contact for HR-related questions regarding systems, personnel documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Manage HR administration throughout the employee journey: onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding (e.g. drafting contracts, employer declarations, processing entries/exits, monthly reporting, payroll).
- Hold conversations with colleagues about absence, systems, processes, and confidential matters.
- Support the recruitment process
- Organize and facilitate internal training sessions and company tours.
- Take full ownership of planning and executing internal events such as Staff Party & Christmas celebrations
- Represent Pulitzer Amsterdam at job fairs and contribute to company presentations.
- Guide the People & Culture trainee
- Assist with People & Culture projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues – be their advocate, culture ambassador, and trusted advisor.
- Spot opportunities for improvement and propose smarter, faster ways to optimize HR processes.
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- A year of experience in a similar role (e.g. HR Assistant or HR Coordinator).
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
- A genuine passion for people, strong empathy, and a positive presence.
- A natural organizer with sharp attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
