The Role: Where Analytics Meets Commercial Insight

As a Pricing Analyst Ocean Freight at Scan Global Logistics, you will be at the heart of our commercial performance. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Ocean Freight and Sales teams to deliver competitive, accurate, and strategic pricing solutions tailored to customer requests, tenders, and spot inquiries.

This position is about more than just numbers . It’s about understanding market trends, creating value-driven offers, and acting as a trusted commercial partner to our sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare Ocean Freight pricing proposals (FCL/LCL) for spot inquiries, RFIs/RFQs, and major tenders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product & Trade Lane Management, and regional counterparts to ensure pricing proposals reflect current market conditions and our commercial objectives.
• Monitor market trends, carrier rate levels, and customer feedback to generate actionable commercial insights.
• Advise Inside Sales on pricing strategies and identify upsell opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Operations, and Procurement to ensure alignment of offers from end to end.
• Maintain accurate data in pricing tools, CRM systems, and rate platforms.
• Support onboarding of new customers through rate implementation and solution support.
• Contribute to monthly sales KPIs and pipeline targets with measurable personal sales results.
