More about the role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Strategist in our Prof Business team in Amsterdam with Signify.
As a Strategist, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the development of Professional Business strategy, monitoring the execution of Strategic initiatives, providing market intelligence and competitive intelligence analysis, and evaluating M&A opportunities. Also acts as Chief of Staff for the Professional Business Management team.
Strategy (70% of the time):
This role is responsible for coordinating the development of the Professional Business strategy, monitoring the execution of Strategic initiatives, and providing market trends and competitive intelligence analysis.
In cooperation with Business Leaders, defines Professional Business Strategy, reflecting market opportunity assessment, key market trends, and competitive moves.
The role is responsible for setting up and timely execution of the Strategic Planning process in Professional Business, and provides a framework and templates to all stakeholders.
Manages timely target setting for strategic initiatives with BUs.
Is responsible for providing Quarterly Reports of the realization of strategic initiatives towards BoM and SVB.
Is responsible for developing Strategic priorities for M&A, cooperates with BU leaders to define key gaps and growth areas, maps and selects targets.
Takes part in the evaluation of M&A targets, provides strategic rationale, market opportunity assessment, and cooperates to define Post-acquisition synergies and integration model.
Provides root-cause analysis regarding underperformance in strategic initiatives or regarding other selected business underperformance areas.
Prepares insights on the quarterly update on market share evolution.
Prepares quarterly update of market trends and competitive moves.
Is responsible for providing market assessment analysis for M&A projects.
Chief of Staff (30% of the time):
Plans business review calendar and scope, aligns with key participants, supports with template and content
Attends high-level meetings and ensures follow-up on action items
Prepare briefings, presentations, and executive summaries
Ensures consistent, transparent communication across businesses, organizes and facilitates all-hands, leadership offsites, and internal updates
Acts as a go-between for executives and staff, streamlining internal communication and ensuring clarity across the organization.
