Ready to build something new and make an immediate impact? At DSV in Venlo, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help establish a brand-new inbound control tower from the ground up. You’ll lay the foundation for streamlined processes that create calm, control, and continuity — right at the heart of international logistics and constant motion.

The inbound control tower, your domain, currently exists mainly on paper. It’s up to you (and your team) to bring it to life operationally. Together, you’ll implement a major fashion client as well as support existing ones, all running on a fully automated process. Our customers always come first — your team focuses on solutions, not limitations: you’re on it.
How you do this? As a freight forwarder inbound, you’re the key link between the port, our customers, and our internal operations. You coordinate and manage the transport of goods from the terminal to our warehouse in Venlo. You make sure every detail is spot on — from arrival times to customs documentation, from processing release forms to communicating with carriers. You achieve this by:
- setting up, structuring, and overseeing the full inbound process;
- monitoring arrivals, releases and ETAs, and responding quickly and accurately;
- liaising with customers and carriers on documentation, customs and planning;
- spotting irregularities, improving processes, and escalating issues when needed.

You bring
- proven experience in customer service, supply chain, or planning within logistics;
- the ability to stay calm and structured, even when things get busy;
- precision and attention to detail in your work;
- a proactive mindset — you contribute ideas, suggest improvements, and aren’t afraid to go off the beaten path;
- excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
