About the roleAs our Hotels Operations Supervisor/Expert, you will take ownership of our hotel operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution while driving improvements across processes and systems. Acting as the key link between the Operations and Hotels Teams, you will not only handle bookings, payments, and communications, but also lead the creation of new workflows, propose platform enhancements, and provide guidance to colleagues. Your role will combine operational expertise with strategic thinking to deliver exceptional service and efficiency.
Your profile
What you’ll do:- Manage day-to-day hotel operations, including bookings, payments, inbox communications, and timely resolution of hotel-related issues.
- Proactively spot and address recurring problems, implementing sustainable solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Operations and Hotels Teams, translating operational needs into platform improvement requests for Product and IT.
- Assess when to escalate matters to the Hotels Team versus resolving them independently.
- Design, document, and refine workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Support team development through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing on hotel processes.
- Maintain the Hotel-OPS task list, track progress, and share reports with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and contribute to medium-term operational planning with the Hotels Team.
- Fluent English speaker; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in process creation and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent Dutch HBO-level thinking/working).
- Team spirit and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
