Are you an ambitious student passionate about people and ready to dive into the world of HR? We're looking for a proactive and eager-to-learn HR Intern to join our dynamic Sub Regional Headquarters HR team in Rotterdam for six months. This is more than just an internship; it's a chance to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact.
About Us
ONE is the world’s sixth largest container carrier with a fleet size of approximately 1.59 million TEU. Operating more than 220 vessels, it offers an expeditious and reliable international network of over 130 services to 120 countries and beyond. By joining us, you'll be contributing to a vital industry that drives global trade and keeps the world moving.
What You'll Be Doing
This isn't your typical filing and coffee-run internship. You'll be a key part of our team, gaining exposure to various HR functions:
- Learning & Development: Support our L&D Manager by scheduling and coordinating learning activities for the entire EUA region. Additionally, you'll help with reporting on our L&D programs. Help us create a culture of continuous growth.
- Talent Management: Work alongside our Talent & Succession Planning Manager and Senior Talent Specialist. You'll get hands-on experience with our talent programs, including apprenticeship programs in our EUA region, specifically with planning and ad-hoc admin tasks.
- HR Operations: Assist our Senior HR Advisor and Senior HR Coordinator with the daily operations that keep our company running smoothly. This includes everything from recruitment and payroll to contract management, pension administration, and our SuccessFactors system.
What We’re Looking For
We're searching for someone who is ready to jump in and contribute from day one. You should:
- Be a student following a relevant course of study, such as Business, HR, or Social Sciences.
- Be available for a full-time, 6-month internship (38.75 hours per week).
- Be ready to start in October, although an earlier start date can be discussed.
- Be fluent in English and Dutch.
- Take initiative and ownership of your responsibilities.
- Have a strong desire to learn and grow.
What We Offer
This is an opportunity to learn from the best in a supportive environment. We offer:
- A challenging and professional internship experience with real responsibilities.
- A collaborative and welcoming team culture where we value open communication and support each other's development.
- A competitive internship allowance.
- It's possible to do your thesis during this internship; we can talk about the details and fit it into the schedule.
