In the logistics department, you will be working with all other departments within Ionbond Netherlands. This department handles both national and international (within and outside the EU) shipments. It regularly organises transport for coating centres in countries such as the Czech Republic, Mexico and the USA. The logistics team plays a key role in the production process.
Our extensive customer base from various segments and the variety of semi-finished products sent by customers mean that every day and every shipment is different. We are looking for a logistics employee who is keen to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in with this team.
The logistics team consists of approximately seven employees. This team is the first in line and the last in line, making it an indispensable link. You will check the incoming goods in the warehouse and coordinate any details with your colleagues in the administration department. Once the goods are ready for shipment, you will pack them according to customer specifications. It is an all-round position with a lot of variety.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has experience as a logistics employee. Together with the team, you will do everything necessary to ensure just-in-time deliveries. You also have:
· Demonstrable knowledge of logistics processes gained from work experience, preferably at an international organisation.
· A very accurate way of working: you never miss any parts in counts/inventories, for example.
· The ability to distinguish between all different customers and different products.
· A forklift certificate and driving licence.
· Knowledge of English is a must, German and Dutch are an advantage.
Finally, it is very important that you are able to remain calm during busy periods. Thanks to your excellent teamwork skills, you will always find a solution together with the team!

The candidate we are looking for is aware that the last shipment does not always leave before 5 p.m. and is flexible in terms of working hours. Occasionally, you will work on Saturdays.
